Psalm 128 says “Blessed is everyone that fears the Lord; that walks in his ways.  You shall eat the labor of your hands, happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you.”  When a man and woman fear God it is more likely that their children will also love and fear God.  And the result will be as the psalmist said at the end of the psalm, “The Lord will bless you out of Zion, and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life”.  God has the ability to provide those who understand that Family Matters with what I would call “Generational Blessings”!  Not only will the initial family core be blessed, but God will bless the children, the children’s children and so forth and so on.  A legacy of blessings will be left because the initial family unit understood that FAMILY MATTERS!
